Guest Speaker Jamie McMillan Jamie McMillan, a journeyman ironworker and founder of Made in the Trade, visited 12 of our schools in early December, speaking to Grade 5 and 6 students about resilience, skilled trades, and the many pathways to success. Her presentation supported key Ontario Curriculum expectations—such as social-emotional learning, career planning, and critical thinking—while inspiring students to recognize their potential and explore diverse future opportunities.
